We have skilled technicians who are certified for the development and implementation of Self-Protection Plans in any premises and facilities where any activities that likely to generate emergency are carried out.
We draw up the Self-Protection / Emergency Plan using our own system, tailored to your organization’s internal procedures, taking into account any hazards or risks likely to arise in the workplaces due to your business activities. We produce your Self-Protection or Emergency plan document from start to end, and even provide the drawings.
We guarantee the practicality of the Self-Protection Plan, and its implementation in your organization, which includes its communication, information, and theoretical and practical training about operating procedures for staff and emergency teams (first responders, emergency and evacuation, first aid, etc. ); and the organisation of periodic exercises and / or drills to check the extent to which the emergency procedures have been implemented.
EMERGENCY PLAN: WHEN IT IS NECESSARY?
According to Section 20 of the Health and Safety at Work Act, any other activities carried out at workplaces where a self-protection plan is not applicable, and where there are workers, must have an emergencies plan.
Emergencies and necessary first aid, fire fighting and worker evacuation measures. must be determined in terms of the size, the activities carried out and the presence of external personnel. This Emergencies plan must be implemented by training the employees, and by performing regular drills.
DEPLOYMENT OF SELF-PROTECTION PLANS
The self-protection plan must be a “living document”, which is why Eurocontrol implement self-protection plans in two main stages:
- General and specific training
- Conducting drills based on the self-protection plan.
Therefore the implementation comprises both general theoretical and practical training for all personnel and specific training for the emergency teams designated at each premises.
General training will be given to all personnel and serves to acquaint them with the ground rules laid down in the self-protection plan.
Specific training for emergency teams will consist of a basic theoretical and practical course, and aims to ensure that all the designated teams are familiar with the self-protection plan action protocols, and the hazard or risk scenarios that might result in an emergency.
